Helping kids see money as a tool — not a mystery.
Dave Alexandre is a former financial advisor, entrepreneur, and children's book author with over a decade of experience in banking. After watching too many bright kids — and adults — reach adulthood without the basics of money management, he set out to build the resource he wished his younger self had: stories that teach real financial skills through adventure.
Dave attended LIU, where he played college football, then spent more than a decade working in finance. That mix of discipline, teamwork, and real-world money experience became the foundation for the children's books he writes today.
After more than ten years in banking and financial advising, Dave saw a clear gap: financial education was missing from most schools and homes. As a father of three, he knew children could understand far more than adults typically give them credit for — they just needed the right delivery. That belief became The Tales of Endless Rewards, a series where Captain Cash, Dollar Duchess, and a cast of characters turn saving, spending, and planning into adventures kids actually want to read.
When he isn't writing, Dave takes his message directly to schools and communities, running workshops that turn money concepts into games children want to play. He also works in higher education, helping students overcome financial obstacles so they can graduate and thrive.
